Craig Heuermann is a US citizen with a troubled legal history. He has been in the news because his brother, Rex Heuermann, has been arrested for multiple horrifying killings.

He is currently 57 years old. Court documents state that he was involved in a fatal vehicle accident on the Southern State Parkway close to their Massapequa Park residence in 1988.

Craig Heuermann hit a car driven by municipal Housing Authority police Captain Winnion Buskey, 51, head-on after crashing across the center median. Tragically, Captain Buskey was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to reports, Craig, who was also hospitalized for a cut face, was taken into custody by the police after the incident. Captain Buskey’s family filed a lawsuit after he entered a guilty plea to criminally negligent murder and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Craig Heuermann was traveling at around 61 mph when the accident happened, according to information presented in court. Judge Frank Rossetti further mentioned that he was already “coked up” and intoxicated at the time of the occurrence.

According to these conclusions, a lawsuit that sought to hold municipal officials accountable for the “Blood Alley”-like road conditions was dismissed.
